Beautiful Surroundings

Nestled in the heart of the Tanat valley in mid-Wales, Belle Vue is central to a large variety of historic attractions and areas of outstanding beauty.

The Pistyll waterfall is one of the 7 wonders of Wales and only a stones throw away. Lake Vyrnwy, with its stunning Victorian stone-built dam is only a short drive, as is the lake at Bala, with it’s great cafe’s and pubs and a host of water sports. Also within reach for a day trip are Llangollen, with its beautiful river and great nightlife; Barmouth, with its stunning beach and seaside treats and Powis castle, with its amazing gardens.

The Tanat Valley is also perfect for walking, fishing, cycling and horse-riding.

The centrally heated cottage is attached to the owner’s property with stunning views over the valley and features including:

Open living/dining kitchen area with fridge, gas cooker, microwave, Flat screen TV and DVD player

Bedrooms

One double bedroom downstairs and a twin room on the upper mezzanine level, with two single beds

Shower Room

A downstairs shower room with toilet and sink

Outside Area

An outside, decked vernadah with outside seating, an area for a BBQ and a patio dining set. Along with a private garden with fabulous views

Additional

In addition, there is a secure storage area for cycles or other equipment; Access into the orchard with a stream and seating area; A small playground area for children.

Jan and Rich were available for any queries, were really helpful and kept us informed of anything we needed to know. A small but well designed space with plenty of storage, clean and well maintained hot tub, good powerful shower, loads of parking space and first lot of wood for fire provided. How to find us

From Chester ring road, take the A483 towards Wrexham. Continue South following signs for Oswestry and then Welshpool until reaching Llynclys then turning right at the White Lion pub on A495 signed for Lake Vyrnwy and Machynlleth. Keep straight (road becomes B4396) for 12 miles through the villages of Llangedwyn and Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant and continue up the hill out of the village signed Lake Vyrnwy for just over a mile and the turn for Belle Vue is the second turning on the right. Ample parking is available.
